Where do the buses leave from?
Answer: The Tourist Office in Kalmar, Färjestaden and Borgholm.

How long will I be at the festival?
Answer: I will leave at 18:00 and are returned at 23:00.

How long am I sitting on the bus?
Answers: maximum of one hour.

Should I bring food and drink?
Answer: No, food and drink can be baught when you come to the festival.

Can I pay on the bus?
Answer: Yes, You can pay on the bus but its best to book your ticket.

Are there disabled facilities?
Answer: yes disabled toilets are at each place.

"Hemlig Festival"

YELLOWBOX is a Music and Art center on the island of Öland Sweden. Our indoor venue can hold 100 people and the out door stage has the capacity of up to 400 people. The venue is designed for acoustic music

Yellowbox provides a meeting place for musicians and artists , in all stages of the creation.

Brief introduction to the Secret Festival concept
SECRET FESTIVAL IS A LEADER PROJECT

Yellowbox in Sättra becomes a place where 10 musicians work together during 3 days to find new musical arrangements. The Musicians will be introduced to the specific surroundings in order to partly be inspired by the place and also be informed about its unique qualities. Musicians from the region meet musicians from different nationalities and backgrounds. The Group lives and works together over the 3 days. The musicians will jointly compose a piece of music inspired by the place to be performed at the forthcoming concerts.

SECRET FESTIVAL A TRAVELING FESTIVAL
Instead of the festival been based in the same venue and in a place that the audience will recognize, we will organize the event at a number of locations on Öland. It will be at a different place each night. Yellowbox arranges transport for the audience to be driven to the chosen sites, where the audience is presented with the unique musical concept.

During these days Yellowbox will present:
• Outdoor stages
• Musicians from the region play with musicians from different nationalities and backgrounds
• New Musical presentations
• A youth workshop under the theme of sound and rhythm

BACKGROND
John Leo Carter and Helle Kvamme have been renovating on a school house on Öland a Swedish island in The Baltic sea since 2004. Island to Island, Seesaw and Songsmiths has resulted in new exciting opportunities for Musicians and artists.
